A spasso per Marsiglia, parte 1: Dal Mucem a Belsunce

La nostra passeggiata a Marsiglia inizia al Mucem, il nuovo museo della civiltà mediterranea allestito nel Fort Saint-Jean e nella nuova struttura costruita in occasione dell’elezione della città come capitale europea della cultura del 2013. L’architettura moderna si sposa con quella antica in modo davvero originale sullo sfondo del mare.

Accanto alla spianata che si affaccia sul mare si trova la Cathédrale de la Major, chiusa il lunedì (non potendolo più fare di domenica evidentemente Iddio è costretto a riposare con i barbieri)

Vicino all’Hôtel de Ville è stato allestito il padigione M, centro espositivo e di orientamento per tutte le iniziative e le mostre nell’ambito dell’elezione a città europea della cultura per l’anno in corso.

    Mixed sensations su Marsiglia.
    Mentre ero li mi piaceva parecchio, ripensandola…no.
    Certamente una citta’ interessante, forse per amarla occorrerebbe approfondirne la storia!
