Tourtour

Abbarbicato a 635 metri Tourtour è a giusto titolo soprannominato “le village dans le ciel de Provence”.
La sua architettura e l’ambiente si sono preservati attraverso i secoli: le case di pietra con i tetti dalle tegole rotonde, la place des Ormeaux, le sue otto fontane, i passaggi sotto gli avvolti e le stradine soleggiate, la chiesa di Saint-Denis, le mura del castello medievale e il  castello del XVII secolo.

E poi lo splendido panorama che si apre sulla piana varoise, tra meravigliose foreste di pini e le tradizioni antiche, come quella del mulino per l’olio, attivo ancora oggi.
